Match Preview and Prediction: King Faisal vs Legon Cities

King Faisal will give their relegation fight another push as they take on Legon Cities in game week thirty-three at the Kwame Kyei Sports Complex.

The Insha Allah Boys’ is one of three teams stationed in the relegation zone, 17th on the log with 39 points but will have to play above their weight levels to pitch a win in today’s spirited encounter.

Coach Ignatius Osei-Fosu reiterated that the team was in pole postilion to win the league but since that statement, a lot of things have gone south for the side, they are gasping for breath and may drown should they give up on their last morsel of strength.

For Maxwell Konadu and his charges, Alex Aso, Kofi Kodzi, Michel Otou, and Samuel Armah, will relish an opportunity of finishing in the top half, knowing that a win against the Kumasi-based club will catapult them to the 6th position of the log should other results in the league sway in their favor.

Match Preview : Dreams vs Great Olympics

The traveling side, Legon Cities are not good customers away from home, they have lost six out of their last seven games, a stat, the home side can capitalize on in this tricky duel.

This game is similar to that of last season, King Faisal was flirting with relegation and a win to stay afloat, which they did with goals in either half from, David Oppong Afranie and Enock Morrison and a consolation for the Royals’ Hans Kowfie.

Prediction: King Faisal 2-1 Legon Cities.
