Ghana Football Association’s former vice president, Fred Pappoe, who ran for the presidency of the Ghana Football Association in 2019, has distanced himself from running for the top job in  2023. Black Stars head coach, Otto Addo has named his provisional list for the 2022 FIFA World Cup to be hosted in Qatar. Otto Addo has sent a total of 55 players to FIFA which will be whittled down to 26 before the competition kick-starts in November 2022. The Ghana FA president was re-elected by acclamation during the electoral congress held in Cote d’Ivoire.
