The Ghana Football Association has released its technical team in the lead-up to the FIFA World Cup slated for Qatar.  The Ghanaian contingent list contains, Coach Otto Addo, Technical adviser, Chris Houghton, and assistant coaches, George Dramani and George Boateng.  Other persons who made the list were, Prince Pamboe as Team Doctor, and Henry Asante Twum as Media Manager.  Samuel Boadu, Ignatius Osei Fosu, Prosper Ogun, and Ibrahim Tanko were among the local coaches who made it to the list. The Sports Minister of Youth and Sports, Mustapha Ussif has disclosed how much will be spent on the Ghana BlackStars ahead of the FIFA World Cup slated for Qatar.  Ghana’s total expenditure for the group stage is in excess of $8m for the World Cup tournament. According to the Sports Minister, a combined total of $14,184,100 is likely to be spent on the team if they progress from the group stages all the way to the quarter-finals. Sulley Muntari has disclosed reasons why his stay with Accra Hearts of Oak was short-lived.  The former Black Stars midfielder agreed to a six-month deal with the MTN FA Cup Champions 2021/22.
