Ashantigold beat Desire Academy in training match

Ashantigold were involved in a training game on Saturday against lower division side Desire Academy, the Miners came out 2-0 winners in the game.




The miners will host Akonangui FC on Guinea next week at the Len Clay Stadium in Obuasi in the second leg of the CAF Confederation Cup preliminary stages.

Shafiu Mumuni and Benjamin Eshun were on target as the Miners registered a 2-0 win.

Ashantigold will be looking to beat Akonangui FC next week in the return leg of the CAF confederation cup game after managing a 1-1 draw in the first.
