Ampem Darkoa Ladies have already secured their place in the semi-finals of the 2026 WAFU B Women’s Champions League Qualifiers, but the Ghanaian champions still have one important Group B assignment ahead against Nigeria’s Edo Queens.

The Nana Mma sealed qualification to the last four with an emphatic 4-0 victory over AS Garde Nationale of Niger, making it two wins from two matches in the competition.

Ghana Black Queens player Nancy Amoh played a leading role in the qualification-clinching victory, opening the scoring in the 23rd minute before going on to claim the Woman of the Match award.

Milot Pokuaa doubled Ampem Darkoa’s advantage in the 39th minute before Patricia Agyei added the third in the 81st minute. Priscilla Okyere completed the rout in stoppage time.

The victory followed Ampem Darkoa’s 1-0 opening win over defending champions ASEC Mimosas, giving the Ghanaian side six points from their first two matches without conceding a goal.

With a place in the semi-finals now secured, Ampem Darkoa will turn their attention to their final group-stage clash against Edo Queens, where they will be hoping to maintain their perfect record and carry momentum into the knockout stage. The match will be played on Sunday August 30 at 4:00 GMT.

For Nancy Amoh, the performance against AS Garde Nationale was another reminder of her quality and importance to Ampem Darkoa Ladies as they continue their pursuit of another WAFU B title and a place in the CAF Women’s Champions League.
