Black Stars head coach Carlos Queiroz has declared his readiness to quit if it would help solve the issues within the Ghana football fraternity.
This comes after the Black Sars failed to glitter on home soil against The Gambia.
Having lost to Cote d’ivoire a fortnight ago, the team looked to make amends against The Gambia but it wasn’t to be as they lost at home.
The home team ahead through Ernest Nuamah and Felix Afena Gyan but the visiting team hit back twice to settle the half time at 2-2.
They scored two additional goals in the final quarter of the second half to make matters worse for the home fans and coach Queiroz.
Speaking to journalist when asked if he would resigned he opined his willingness to step aside if it would aid the football happenings in the country.
“If my resignation will be the solution for Ghana football, I’d be the first one to resign. But this is a decision I’ll leave for the federation,” the Queiroz ended.
Ghanaians have been left disappointed following the trend of bad results the team has chalked over the last period.
