    Ghana assistant coach George Boateng has accepted a deal to work part-time as a pundit for beIN SPORTS team during the FIFA World Cup slated for Qatar. 



    The former Aston Villa youth coach joined the technical team of Ghana in March as together with others they helped the country qualify for its fourth FIFA World Cup. 

    In a statement released by beIN Sports on its website confirmed George Boateng as one of several big wits to offer their expert opinions on the upcoming games in the tournament.

    “Ghana Assistant Coach George Boateng will also join the beIN SPORTS team during the tournament,” beIN SPORTS 

    Brazilian football maestro Kaka will lead a star-studded line-up of pundits, David Villa, Gabriel Batistuta, Egyptian legend Mohamed Aboutrika, Gary Neville, John Terry, and Lianne Sanderson,  Alessandro Del Piero, Denmark’s Peter Schmeichel, France’s Arsene Wenger and 1998 World Cup winner Marcel Desailly, Germany’s 1990 winner Lothar Matthaus, Dutchman Ruud Gullit and former Republic of Ireland international Jason McAteer.

    Black Stars will contend with Portugal, South Korea, and Uruguay for one of two slots for the knock stage.
