Ghana Premier League outfit Legon Cities are one of many other clubs looking to bolster their side as they look forward to welcoming the second round of the suspended league.

The Accra based club have been embarking on a nationwide scouting campaign to sign top players to help them challenge in the competition.

Legon Cities FC Communications Director Kwame Dwomoh-Agyemang reiterated the club’s desire to augment their side in the current transfer window.

“There is no truth in that, obviously we are looking at getting in a few players to augment our squad before the football season resumes,”

The club are yet to reap the dividends of their massive financial injection as they sit 15th with 16 points after 15 games.

The Royals have signed Nicholas Gyan of former Ebusua Dwarfs fame into their ranks as they await the resumption of the league due to its suspension caused by coronavirus pandemic.
