Ghana coach Otto Addo is optimistic about the team’s chances of winning every game against their group stage opponents at the World Cup.
The Black Stars have been pitted in Group L against top-ranked sides, England and Croatia, and low-ranked Panama.
Speaking to Sporty FM after the draw, the Black Stars gaffer sounded confident about the team’s chances of winning its games on a good day.
“Surely, we want to win every match, and like I said, once we get a good start, anything is possible. On a good day, I know we can beat anyone. But I also know that we can lose against all of those teams, including Panama.”
Ghana’s first game will be against Panama on Wednesday, June 17, in Dallas, USA.
Six days later they will take on England in a mouthwatering clash at the BMO Field Stadium in Toronto, Canada.
Their final game against Croatia will be on 27th June at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia.
Three North American countries, the United States, Canada, and Mexico, will host the competition, which begins on June 11.
The final will take place at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
