Legon Cities captain Frank Akoto has admonished how difficult the season has been for his side in the ongoing 2023/2024 Ghana Premier League season.

The Royals have endured a torrid spell in the season which saw them winless eight games until they broke their duck against Kotoko.

Over the weekend, they beat newly promoted outfit Holy Stars from Basake by two goals to one of which the captain scored on the day.

“I think we are finding our feet and adjusting to the league. It hasn’t been easy, because most of the players are new to the league and it will take time, but I’m delighted we are now winning games”

“He added that it was a good win after scoring the equalizer for the team and the feeling is different when you score on your birthday and I dedicate this win to our fans who have been behind us throughout the start of the league”. He ended.
