    BlackStars hit Madagascar where it hurt the most by three unanswered goals at the Al Hociema Sports Stadium in Morocco.

     



    Thomas Partey’s 11th-minute header from a teasing cross by teammate and captain Jordan Ayew set the tone for the game.

    The first half ended 1-0 in favor of the Black Stars.

    The opposing side determined to make amends for their trailed goal came into the second half with a lot of attacking intent from the host who trailed the BlackStars but the defensive resoluteness of the team was on hand to repel their attacks.

    HIGHLIGHTS :

    Thomas Partey registered his second goal from a Jordan Ayew corner kick in the 53rd minute.

    Mohammed Kudus who failed to score in Accra against Chad redeemed himself with the icing on the cake as he got to the end of a smartly threaded pass from Jordan Ayew to make it three-nil to the BlackStars.

    The win sees the team with 15 points from 6 games and as they play Mali and Chad in the next double 2026 World Cup qualifying games.
