Black Stars head coach Otto Addo has emphasized the need for his team to be focused and cautious ahead of their pivotal World Cup qualifying match against the Central African Republic (CAR) in Kumsi.

The Black Stars against all odds managed to secure a famous win away to Mali in Bamako, highlighting their first win in 2024.

Following the win, it has piqued the hopes of Ghanaians to dream about another World Cup qualification which Coach Otto Addo has cautioned against.

“One thing is for sure, it’s going to be a very difficult game. For everyone who thinks it’s going to be easy, we hope it goes like that, but it’s a difficult game. We can’t relax now,” Addo told the media on Sunday evening.

“I was overwhelmed the last time we came here, to be honest, I didn’t expect that especially looking at our performance at Afcon and yet they cheered us up in numbers, it’s the reason why I love Kumasi fans. I love coming here, we need their support from the star to the end of the game” he told pressmen

Ghana is level on points with Madagascar and Comoros and will hope to get a better result to top Group I.

Meanwhile, Coach Savoy and his pack will hope to avenge their 2-1 loss against the Black Stars back in September 2023.

The game between the pair will take place at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Monday, June 10, 2023, at 19:00 GMT.
