Accra Hearts of Oak and newly promoted side, Samartex had to settle for a point each when the pair clashed in game week 13 of the ongoing betPawa Premier League at Accra Sports Stadium.

The host were making a return to their favorite home turf following a month of football inactivity but they failed to make their home superiority count on the day.

The first half was full of attacking promises from both sides but neither was able to find the back of the net.

In the 64th minute, coach Slavko Matic, who was making a return to the dugout after being granted medical leave by the club, withdrew captain Salifu Ibrahim, Yaw Baafi, Isaac Mensah for Glid Otanga, Ben York, and Clinton Appiah.

Samartex also made substitutions of their own as Francis Oteng, and Isaac Afful were replaced by Frank Awere and Adu Siaw.

The two sides probed each other on countless occasions but in the end, they fell short of getting the much-needed goal which could have aided in 3 points.

Hearts travel away to Medeama SC whiles Samartex will be at home to a resurgent King Faisal side.
