Former Ghana Premier League champions, Hearts of Oak pipped Nsoatreman by a goal to nil at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.

The host was coming into this fixture after falling away to Real Tamale United in the opening fixture of the competition and needed to make amends in their home game.

The host started the early exchanges quite well and there was no doubt that Congolese forward Kashala Ramos Wanet’s header inside ten minutes proved the match-winner.

Hearts held on to pick all the three maximum points of the game which also helped them break the winless run against coach Maxwell Konadu.

Nsoatreman FC will play host to Dreams FC while Hearts will travel away to Bofoakwa Tano for the third fixture of the league.
