    Jordan Ayew’s pivotal goal in the dying embers of the second half aided the Black Stars to secure all three points at the expense of Mali in the 2026 World Cup qualifying campaign at the Stade du 26 Mars in Bamako.



    The game started with loads of frantic energy and pace, with the home team making their presence known in the opening encounter calling goalkeeper, Lawrence Ati-Zigi into many routine saves.

    Kamory Doubia’s shot took a massive defection off Alexander Djiku for the game’s opener a minute to end the first half.

    Jordan scored the winner at the stoppage time to see the Black Stars record their first win of 2024 after seven games
