Aduana Stars and Asante Kotoko settled for a point each in the mouth-watering clash off game 10 of the ongoing betPawa Premier League on New Year’s Day at the Nana Agyemang Badu II Park.

The host started this game as table toppers of the league as they beat Accra Great Olympics last weekend away from home.

Kotoko were coming into this game on the back of picking a vital home win over Berekum Chelsea.

The first half failed to produce any real chances for both teams as they went at each other’s necks for an opener.

The second half started in a similar fashion but with more intensity as Lamptey, and Blay were both booked in 47th and 48th minute respectively.

Former player, Emmanuel Gyamfi was torn in the flesh of his former employers as he thwarted their defense in ruthless fashion but the young Fred Asare was equal to the task in post for Kotoko.

Kotoko also had their chance to break the deadlock through Mfegue, Mukwala, and Lamptey but a resolute Joseph Addo denied them on multiple attempts.

In the end, both teams shared the spoils which see Aduana Stars remain at the summit of the table with Kotoko
