Ghanaian footballer Comfort Yeboah was in the spotlight on Monday evening after helping Ampem Darkoa Ladies beat AS FAR Rabat 1-2 in the CAF Women’s Champions League.

The talented player scored the equalizer and later saw her cross deflected to give her side their first-ever win in the competition.

Despite her heroics in her Champions League debut, Comfort Yeboah was trending on social media for answering her post-match questions with local Ghanaian language “Twi”. She became the first Ghanaian woman to use the local language in the CAF Champions League post-match interview.

Comfort Yeboah received a lot of praise for using her Twi during the interview.
