    A convincing two-nil victory for Black Satellites pushed them to clinch bronze at the 2025 WAFU Zone B U20 Championship.

    The host nation was looking forward to hosting and winning the tournament, but it wasn’t to be in the semi-finals.
    They lost to neighbors, Ivory Coast, in a cagey encounter at Prampram by 1-2. In a game, Benjaimen Tsivanyo gave them a first-half lead, but they were pegged back in the second half of the game.

    Bamba Kouddousse responded through a craftily taken penalty to restore parity for the visiting side.
    Midfielder Ali Kone unleashed a thunderous long-range effort to seal the win and book their place in the final.

    The Black Satellites will take home the bronze after beating Niger by two unanswered goals.
    Nigeria and Ivory Coast will slug it out in the finals tonight at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium.
