The Black Starlets have intensified efforts in training in order to get an improved result when they come face-to-face with neighbors, Togo in the ongoing WAFU Zone B U-17 tournament in Cape Coast, Ghana.

The host nation succumbed to a heavy 4-2 drubbing to Nigeria in the first match of the competition and will need to play above their weight levels in their second group match of the tournament to avoid a possible exit from the tournament.

Paa Kwesi Fabian, head coach of the side, lamented how he was left to assemble another group of players after a bunch of his initial squad numbering about 20 were disqualified by the MRI Scan.

The Black Starlets will have to find every possible means to keep their hopes alive by beating Togo to keep their hopes of qualifying for African U-17 competition slated for Algeria next year alive.
