    Bless Ege’s second-half goal was enough for the home team to beat their neighbours to the west in the ongoing WAFU B Zone tournament.

     



    The home team drew their first game against the Eaglets of Nigeria in a keenly contested match, with both teams earning a point each at the end of the game.

    Desmond Ofei and his boys, knowing that only a win would secure their chances to the next stage, delivered just the performance to help them scale over their opponents.

    The first half failed to produce any goals, with neither team having much to choose from.

    The second half saw a lot of attacking intent from both teams.

    Bless Ege was at the end of a sweet Musbau Aziz pass to get the home team the lead with ten minutes to end proceedings.
