    The Black Satellites lost the plot against the neighboring Ivory Coast for a spot in the finals of the 2025 WAFU-B Boys Cup.

     



    Benjamin Tsivanyo got the Black Satellites into an early lead with a fine effort from outside the box just two minutes into the game proceedings.

    The young Elephants got themselves back into the game after a slow start just before the first half break.
    Midfielder Ali Kone’s long-range effort in the 69th minute flew past Gideos Aseako in the post for the host nation to give the Ivorians the lead for the first time in the game.

    Ghana’s late surge for an equalizer hit a snag as the Ivorian preserved and protected their slender win.
    They will play Nigeria in the final of the competition set for the University of Ghana Stadium.
