A Doris Boaduwaa hat-trick was enough for the Black Queens of Ghana to cut through the Egyptians at the Accra Sports Stadium.
There was little to choose from between the two sides as the first half ended goalless.

The second half was a little different from the first as the home team played with a lot of urgency.
Seven minutes into the second half, Doris Boaduwaa opened the scoring from a Jennifer Cudjoe cross, which the Egyptian goalkeeper, Abiba failed to hold firm on the initial effort.
Winger Princela Marfo turned provider for Doris Boaduwaa’s second goal just three minutes later with the simplest of touches from a delicious cross from the right wing.
Two minutes later, Princela Marfo conjured another magic from the hat, bagging her second assist on the evening as she teed up Comfort Yeboah, who scored a sumptuous goal from 20 yards from goal.

Second-half substitute Stella Nyamkeye got in on the party as she teed up Doris Boaduwaa for her hat-trick on the day.
The Black Queens beat the Egyptians in two legs in a 7-0 aggregate scoreline to seal qualification to the WAFCON 2026 in Morocco.
