The Black Queens of Ghana have all but wrapped upqualification as they face Egypt at the Accra Sports Stadium on Tuesday, October 28.
They beat the Cleopatras by three unanswered goals away from home in the first leg and would seal qualification in the second leg of their 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) Qualifiers.

The team trained for the first time on Monday evening at the Accra Sports Stadium after days of boycotting training due to unpaid bonuses from their medal-winning performance in Morocco.
Coach Kim Bjorkegren hopes to eliminate any complacency and lethargy that may have developed after days of inactivity.
The team has not trained in the last two days in hopes of prompting the football hierarchy to pay their bonuses from July.

They trained for the first time on Monday evening under the supervision of the technical team and some key personalities of the Ghana Football Association.
The game is scheduled for a 3:30 pm kickoff at the Accra Sports Stadium.
