    The Black Queens started their group games with an opening loss against defending champions South Africa, then a draw against Mali in the next game.

     



    They secured passage to the quarter finals after a thumping win against Tanzania with goals from Princella Adubea, Alice Kusi, Evelyn Badu, and Chantelle Boye-Hlorkah.

    The quarter-final pairings of the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations have been made following the completion of the group phase.

    In the end, Ghana, Nigeria, Senegal, Mali, Zambia, South Africa, Morocco, Algeria have qualified for the quarter finals with some exciting clashes set to be witnessed by fans across the globe.

    In Group A, Morocco and Zambia were tied on 7 points, with Senegal finishing as the third-best-placed side.

    Group B, Nigeria finished top of their group with 7 points, followed by Algeria with five points.

    Group C, South Africa finished with 7 points, Ghana and Mali with 4 points.

    QUARTER FINALS

    Morocco – Mali (18/07/2025)

    Nigeria – Zambia (18/07/2025)

    Algeria – Ghana (19/07/2025)

    South Africa – Senegal (19/07/2025)

    The semi-finals are set for July,22,2025.
