Ghana’s Black Queens have set up a mouthwatering quarter-finals clash against Algeria in the ongoing 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.
The Queens started their group games with an opening loss against defending champions South Africa, then a draw against Mali in the next game.

They secured passage to the quarter finals after a thumping win against Tanzania with goals from Princella Adubea, Alice Kusi, Evelyn Badu, and Chantelle Boye-Hlorkah.
Algeria’s run to the quarter finals saw them pick up a win in their opening game against Botswana by a Ghoutia Karchouni goal.

The next two games saw them draw goalless against Tunisia and Nigeria.
This means they have scored a goal and played three clean sheets.
The Black Queens have set up a frantic quarter-final pairings against Algeria, slated for July 19.
