    WAFA’s Lawrence Agyekum attracts interest from Europe

    WAFA SC midfielder Lawrence Agyekum has attracted strong interest from a host clubs across the European divide on the back of hugely impressing for his boyhood club in the ongoing season in the Ghana premier league.



    The mercurial midfielder has churned out impressive displays for Prosper Narteh Ogum’s side since returning from injury in the early part of the first half of the season, hence making twenty (20) outings for the side.

    The 17-year-old lad has pitched 2 goals and assisted his teammates on 4 different occasions in their strife to finish in the top 6 of the league. 

    According to information reaching, Saharafootball.net, clubs in Austria, Germany, Belgium and Spain have made efforts on a proposed move for the young midfield gem, it remains to be seen, if any of these will materialize in the coming months. 

    WAFA are billed to take on Liberty Professionals at the Sogakope Red Bull Arena over the weekend in what promises to be a mouthwatering fixture between the pair in week twenty of the Ghana Premier League.
