West African Football Academy’s defender Henry Oware has completed a January transfer move to Ligue One side Troyes.

Henry Oware was spotted by City Football Group while competing in the Sebastian Arnesen competition in Accra earlier this year, which was run by his partner Daniel Boifio Jr.

The City Football Group, best known for being the owner of Premier League powerhouse Manchester City, also owns Troyes.

He reportedly cost Troyes about 60,000 euros to sign.

Following a successful medical with the Ligue 1 side, he completed his medical on Wednesday.

The young gem will represent Troyes B in the youth division, and depending on how well he performs, he may get some time with the first squad.

RB Salzburg, Dortmund, Arsenal, and Ajax were said to be monitoring the exploits of the young gem.
