Black Stars coach Otto Addo is keen to try new players ahead of the Unity Cup tournament slated for Wednesday, May, 28,2025.

    .

Otto Addo and his charges have found their feet following wins against Chad and Madagascar in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

They will be looking to give Ghanaians something to cheer about when the tournament starts on Wednesday.

The absence of Thomas Partey, Mohammed Kudus,  Kamal Deen Sulemana, Ernest Nuamah, and Antoine Semenyo will be a major headache for Otto Addo.

This has led him to give call-ups to five debutants, four local players, and others to justify their inclusion in the Black Stars squad.

”The Unity Cup comes at a crucial time for us, and we want to make the most of it. We’re excited to welcome back players who have been absent for months due to various reasons, as well as integrate new players into the team,” he told ghanafa.org.
