    Ghana’s University for Development Studies (UDS) has reached the semifinals of the 2025 World University Games in Dalian, China.

     



    The Ghanaian-based University has secured two wins and a draw in its group stages, earning it seven points.

    That aided them to their quarter-final game against Kyungil University from South Korea, where they dispatched them with cheeky ease.

    Ronald Frimpong stole the show with an impressive hat-trick.

    Zakaria Alhassan was not left out of the action as he scored a brace as well, but the Korean side managed two consolation goals to end the game at 5-2.

    The Tamale-based are hoisting the flag of Ghana and Africa high in the ongoing University tournament.
