The Patron of the newly inaugurated Ho Asogli Branch of the Millennium Supporters Union of Ghana (MISUGHA), Togbe Kasa III, has met with members of the branch for their first official gathering following the successful inauguration.

The meeting, which took place at the 5 Star Pub Ho Barracks, brought together branch members and some regional executives to chart a clear path for the growth and development of MISUGHA in the Volta Region.

Known for his action-oriented and people-centred leadership, Togbe Kasa III, who is a Senior Divisional Chief of the Asogli State, encouraged members to remain united, disciplined, and committed to the vision of the supporters’ movement. He emphasized the importance of teamwork, dedication, and patriotism in promoting sports and supporting Ghanaian athletes at both local and national levels.

The gathering was marked by an atmosphere of excitement and unity, as members treated themselves to an hour of passionate Jama to celebrate their new beginning. The session also served as an opportunity to strengthen bonds among members and reaffirm their commitment to building a vibrant and active supporters’ group.

During the deliberations, discussions focused on strategies to expand membership, organise regular activities, and provide strong support to sportsmen and women from the Volta Region. Regional executives present at the meeting also offered guidance and assured the branch of their continuous support in achieving its objectives.

Togbe Kasa III recently joined the MISUGHA family after the Ho Asogli delegation paid a courtesy visit to him ahead of the inauguration ceremony. His acceptance to serve as Patron has been described as a major boost to the branch, as his influence and leadership are expected to enhance its growth and impact.

The Ho Asogli Branch remains optimistic about the future and is committed to playing a key role in mobilising support for Ghana’s national teams and promoting sports development in the region.

Bibiani Gold Stars will host Aduana Stars at Dun’s Park in Bibiani.

Both teams are at opposite ends of the league table.

The Miners have struggled for consistency in the league so far, so it is hardly surprising that they occupy 15th spot with 10 points, just above the relegation zone – quite unusual for a former league champion.

Aduana have picked three wins from five games in the league.

Their most recent win was against the regional rivals, Berekum Chelsea through an Amankona brace.

They will hoping to repeat the dosage against a difficult opponent, Goldstars.

Bar Hearts of Oak, they are the second best defensive side in the league, with just 5 goals conceded.

Match Preview & Prediction: Berekum Chelsea vs Asante Kotoko

Golden City Park will witness one of the weekend’s top fixtures between Berekum Chelsea and Kotoko in week ten of the 2026/7 Ghana Premier League.

Berekum Chelsea have endured a torrid campaign so far, having secured just three wins from nine games in the lead-up to their clash against the Porcupine Warriors.

They lost to Aduana Stars last weekend and will need to step up against the Kumasi-based club, who are coming to town for what promises to be a cliffhanger.

They sit 11th with 11 points from nine games, scoring 10 and conceding 11.

Meanwhile, the former champions have underwhelmed this season.

They have gathered 13 points from nine games, scoring and conceding 10 goals apiece.

The Porcupine Warriors are still seeking consistency, which will make this a dicey game at Golden City Park.

Prediction: Berekum Chelsea 1-1 Asante Kotoko

The battle of the two Hearts will come off at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium.

The two teams have endured contrasting fortunes since the start of the season.

The home team surprisingly lost to newly promoted Debibi United last weekend, ending a four-match unbeaten run.

They boast the league’s best defensive record (only 3 goals conceded) and an outstanding home record—unbeaten at the UG Stadium this season (3 wins, 1 draw, and zero goals conceded).

This is a feat Coach Nebojsa Kapor will be hoping to protect, preserve, and continue against familiar foes.

Meanwhile, Heart of Lions arrive with renewed confidence after a 2-1 win over Bechem United that ended a three-game losing streak.

They are more open and higher-scoring than Hearts, but less consistent defensively.

This game has all to play for both teams looking to get a bit of the Premier League .

Prediction : Hearts of Oak 2-1 Heart of Lions
