Black Stars midfielder Thomas Partey emerged as the winner of the Player of the Year award at the 2025 Ghana Football Awards.
Partey picked the award at the expense of fellow BlackStars players, Antoine Semenyo of Bournemouth and Athletic Bilbao’s Inaki Williams.

Partey was a cogwheel in the Arsenal midfielder which challenged Liverpool for the Premier League but lost it to the Merseyside side at the end of the season.
The combative midfielders’ presence for BlackStars in the ongoing World Cup qualifiers also didn’t go unnoticed by the organizers of the seventh edition of the football awards.
The win marks his third award after wins in 2018 and 2019.
