Black Stars coach Otto Addo has highlighted the need improvement ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Ghana lost to Japan and South Korea in the Kirin Cup.
That friendly exercise saw new faces getting an opportunity to impress the technical team.

Otto in his post game interview highlighted the gaping holes that need to be sealed ahead of the World Cup.
“For the World Cup, there are still some months to go for us to improve,” he said in a post-match interview.
“Surely also in all aspects, in pressing and creating chances, but also not allowing chances, there’s still room to improve, especially for Ghana.
“I can’t speak too much about South Korea because, like I said, they did well today. But Japan on a very high level.”

The team will reassemble in March 2026 to continue preparations for the global showpiece.
