A goal in the first half from Albert Amoah and two penalties, one each from Samba Oneil and Donzo, was enough for Kotoko to beat Nations FC, a result the head coach thought could have been avoided.
Speaking to reporters after his side lost the game, he recounted that despite his team’s brilliant showing, the results didn’t show the true reflection of the game, as the goals they conceded could have been avoided.
“If you look at the goals we conceded, they are all goals that could be avoided.
The last ten minutes we kept giving the balls and made a lot of mistakes “ – he ended.
Nations FC will dust themselves off as they welcome Berekum Chelsea to the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Stadium in Abrankese.
