My target is to win the League – Hearts of Oak coach Kosta Papic

The Ghana Premier League 2020-21 season is entering into its match week fourteen this weekend, whiles some clubs have beaten off stiff competition to be better placed on the log, others are still pitching pieces together to get their campaigns realigned to their season objectives.

One club, that is still in anxious wait for a league triumph is the capital-based club, Accra Hearts of Oak after a decade of absence.

Their inconsistent season has seen many queries, what the problems may be at the club but the last man to steer the club to victory and the current head coach, Kosta Papic is highly optimistic about the chances of the club to win the Ghana Premier League, which has long eluded them.

“My target still remains the same; to win the league,”

“If we find the winning formula and we come back, we are going to catch those who are ahead of us,” he continued.

“The point difference is not big. The gap is not strong, which means we still have a chance.

“If we do properly the job that is ahead of us we’re going to catch everybody and be in a position to fight for what you said (the title),” he told Nhyira FM.

The Phobians drew their home game to Legon Cities stretching their winless streak to four games, their next game sees them go head-to-head with Cape Coast based Ebusua Dwarfs on February 19, 2021.
