Accra Hearts of Oak have tabled a contract extension offer to experience player Sulley Muntari ahead of their Africa campaign.

The well-traveled midfielder teamed up with the recent winners of the MTN FA CUP midway through the season and was instrumental in the club’s campaign in the just-ended season.

With Phobians participation in Africa for the CAF Confederations Cup, they view the 37-year-old’s experience as valuable to the task ahead hence the need to continue working with the player.

The likes of Barnieh Afriyie, Seidu Suraj, Enock Asubonteng, and Fredrick Ansah Botchway have all at a point pinpointed the immense contribution of Muntari to the team since he joined Samuel Boadu’s side midway through the season.

It remains to be seen if the nomadic player will be swayed to play for the continental club masters who begin their Africa campaign in September.
