    Steven Mukwala leaves Asante Kotoko

    Ghana Premier League side, Asante Kotoko, has officially confirmed the departure of Ugandan forward, Steven Mukwala following the end of the 2023/2024 season.



    The Ugandan international teamed up with Kotoko some two seasons ago as a free agent following the expiration of his contract with his native club, Uganda Rivers Authority FC.

    During his first season, he made over thirty appearances and scored 11 goals for Kotoko in the 2022/2023 football season.

    In the just-ended season, Mukwala led the attack for Kotoko, who found the back of the net, fourteen times in 28 appearances for the Porcupine Warriors who finished who finished 6th with 49 points from 33 games.

    Saharafootball.net is reliably informed that Mukwala is inches away from agreeing to a two-year deal with the Tanzanian club,  Simba SC.
