Ghana winger Fatawu Issahaku has been left out of Sporting Lisbon’s 29-man squad for their pre-season training camp in Algarve.

The 19-year-old since securing his move to the Portuguese club has failed to cut through to the first team as a regular starter under club manager, Ruben Amorin.

Fatawu has been limited to only 118 minutes of action with the first-team squad but sadly he has been asked to stay behind with Sporting’s second-string side to fully prepare him as the club weighs in on offers from potential suitors.

Sporting Lisbon is looking to move on from the Ghanaian international as they seek a transfer fee of around €15 million or a possible loan deal for him out of the club.
