Former Ghana international, Samuel Inkoom is eyeing a possible return to any of the Ghana Premier League clubs once he decides to call time off his playing career.

The once blistering fullback left the shores of the country after featuring for local side, Kotoko for FC Basel in 2009 and has had stints with Dnipro, Boavista, DC United, and Antalyaspor once again before hanging his boots

According to the 32-year-old fullback who is currently clubless after ending his contract with Georgia club, FC Torpedo is relishing an opportunity to play for any of the sides in the league.

“It is possible I will play in the Ghana Premier League because I just finished my contract with my club in Georgia. I am now back home. A lot of local clubs have sent in offers but in the end, I will have to decide with my agent, but I believe a comeback to Ghana is very possible because that is where I started,” Inkoom told Connect FM.

If Inkoom manages to secure a move to any of the local side, he will add up to the number of players like Hearts of Oak’s duo, Sulley Muntari and Gladson Awako, former Legon Cities player, Asamoah Gyan, and others that have come back to play in the league after many years of playing abroad.
