After a long-standing legal tussle in recent months, Hearts of Oak coach Samuel Boadu has dutifully paid a substantial amount to the tune of GHS 67,500 to his former employers, Medeama SC together with his assistant coach Hamza Obeng.

Midway in the season, Samuel Boadu and Hamza Obeng unceremoniously left their roles at the Tarkwa based club after freshly agreeing to new deals, this did not sit down well with the former, who dragged their former coaches to GFA to seek some financial closure on how the pair abrogated their contract.

After deliberating on the matter, the GFA slapped the pair with fines of (GH¢30,000) and (GH¢37,500) respectively.

It is said that the top hierarchy of the club mobilized the funds on behalf of the coaches to sort out their financial debts against their former employers.

Samuel Boadu masterminded an impressive victory over fiercest rivals, Kotoko at the Accra Sports Stadium inching the club closer to breaking their over a decade wait for a league should they win two of their three remaining duels against, Ebusua Dwarfs, Liberty, and WAFA.
