Accra Hearts of Oak coach, Samuel Boadu has with immediate effect resigned from his position as assistant coach of Ghana’s U20 team, Black Satellites.

Per recent circling local reports, the MTN FA Cup winner, who in the last few weeks has come under intense pressure from board member, Dr. Nyaho Tamakloe, key stakeholders, and other sections of the fans for the club’s dismal season has notified the Ghana Football Association(GFA) of his decision.

Hearts of Oak last season after winning the league, had the opportunity of representing, Ghana in Africa but failed woefully as they lost to JS Saoura, Algeria, and Wydad Casablanca, Morocco by a 10-2 aggregate in two legs.

According to close associates of the coach, he has indicated that he wants to fully focus his efforts in helping the former continental masters do well in Confederation Cup.

Hearts of Oak finished this season with only the MTN FA Cup.
