Hearts of Oak’s Samuel Boadu is in line to be named as head coach of Ghana men’s U-20 side and will have Jacob Nettey as his deputy.

The Black Satellites haven’t had the best of fortunes in the last few months as a culmination of bad results has heightened pressure on the team.

In the last few months, the team were eliminated from the group stages of the WAFU Zone B tourney which was held in Niger- where they lost all their two matches to Nigeria and Burkina Faso.

In the just-ended tournament in Maurice Revello tournament in France, Ghana finished 11th out of the total 12 teams.

With the way things are unfolding, it’s looking as though there would be a managerial overhaul within the youth setup.

Boadu has done well for himself since taking on the reigns of the Hearts of Oak job, winning 5 trophies within a two years span.
