Accra Great Olympics PRO, Saint Osei has disclosed that the team made a firm decision to relocate from Accra to Sogakope for the remainder of their league games due to the team’s costs.

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) finally approved the club’s petition to have their games to be played at the Sogakope Red Bull Arena.

Prior to the start of the season, the Club Licensing Committee of the GFA approved the Accra Sports Stadium and the WAFA park for use by the club when it deems necessary in their campaign.

“Yes, it is true we have changed the venue because of cost at the Accra Sports Stadium for now. You know that our position on the league table is not good and now we need intensive camping,”

“We need to play on astroturf WAFA Park is our alternative park so we want to acclimatize ourselves with the place and play the rest of our matches there. But mainly from costing if you juxtapose that with Accra Sports Stadium this one is far better,” he told Peace FM

Accra Great Olympics are in a dire situation following their 1-0 slump to the table toppers, Aduana Stars in week twenty-six of the ongoing betPawa Premier League and will have to redeem themselves as they face-off with a Tamale City at the Sogakope Red Bull Arena this weekend.
