    Rwandan Premier League giants APR FC have formalized a deal to sign former Asante Kotoko midfielder Richmond Nii Lamptey.

     



    Lamptey reneged on the opportunity of continuing his stint with the club after the end of the 2023/2024 Ghana Premier League season.

    He disclosed that he would seek greener pastures away from the club which has seen him cross carpets from the shores of Ghana to join, Armée Patriotique Rwandaise (APR) Football Club joining APR after his contract with Kotoko expired, ending a successful three-year stint with the club.

    He made 68  league appearances and was involved in ten goal contributions during his three-year stay at the club.

    Lamptey is expected to shore up the midfield of his new club with his valuable experience having played at WAFA, Inter Allies, Kotoko, and a cameo with the Black Stars.
