    A host of Ghanaian players were in action for their varied clubs in England, Italy, France, and others.

     



    In this piece, we look at some of these players and how they fared for their respective club sides.

    Thomas Partey played 85 minutes for Arsenal as crushed Leicester City beyond recognition at the Emirates. Jordan Ayew and Abdul Fatawu Issahaku came on late in the game but couldn’t save their team from losing.

    Mohammed Kudus was subbed off at halftime as WestHam drew 1-1 with Brentford.

    Tariq Lamptey warmed the bench for Brighton as they lost way to Chelsea in a six-goal thriller at the Stamford Bridge.

    Forson Amankwah came off the bench to help his side beat Derby County.

    Brandon Thomas-Asante got 30 minutes of game time for Coventry who had no answers to Leeds United.

    Mohammed Salisu was a star performer for Monaco as they beat Montpellier at the Stade Louis II.

    Augustine Boakye came off the bench for Etienne as they drew 2-2 with Nantes. Elisha Owusu’s Auxerre lost to Le Havre.

    Combative fullback, Alidu Seidu’s Stade Rennes lost to PSG.

    Elisha Owusu scored and grabbed an assist as Auxerre dispatched Brest with ease.

    Emmanuel Gyasi’s Empoli drew goalless with Fiorentina.

    Alfred Duncan’s Venezia lost to Rima.  

    BlackStars forward, Inaki Williams’s Athletic Bilbao drew 1-1 against Sevilla at the San Mames.

    Ibrahim Osman played for Feyenoord against Nijmegen

    Alexander Djiku helped Fenerbahce beat Antalyaspor

    DefenderJerome Opoku played for Basaksehir as they edged out Sivasspor

    Kingsley Schindler scored for Samsunspor as they beat Göztepe

    Abdul Mumin was in action for Rayo Vallecano against Leganes in a 1-1 game.

    David Atanga Wolfsberger’s lost 1-3 to Tirol.

    Majeed Ashimeru’s Anderlecht pulled a point away from Dender.

    Mohammed Fuseini was one of three scorers for Royale Union SG, and they beat Kortrijk.

    Lawrence Agyekum and Francis Abu were in action for Cercle Brugge as they shared the spoils against Joselpho Barnes’s St. Truiden.

    Prince Kwabena Adu scored for Plzen against Mlada Boleslav

    Red-hot Michael Baidoo found the back of the net for Elfsborg against Kalmar. Jalal Abdullai was involved as well.

    Jonas Adjetey Adjei’s FC Basel lost away to Luzern.

    Afriyie Daniel was involved for Zurich as they Sion at home.

    Austin FC’s Osman Bukari drew 2-2 with Real Salt Lake

    Liberec B’s Benjamin Nyarko was not involved in the game against Benatky n. Jiz.

    Partizan’s duo Zubairu Ibrahim and Leonard Owusu were pivotal for the side as they beat Mladost.
