    A host of Ghanaian players were in action for their varied clubs in England, Italy, France, and others.

    Abdul Mumin showcased a good performance for Rayo Vallecano in their 1-1 draw against Atletico Madrid.

    Caleb Ekuban’s Genoa lost 2-0 to Venezia

    Emmanuel Gyasi powered Empoli to win over Cagliari.

    Elisha Owusu was involved for Auxerre as they lost to Montpellier

    Ernest Nuamah’s Lyon lost the plot against rivals Marseille in a five-goal thriller.  

    CombativeAlidu Seidu gave a solid performance for Rennes in its  1-1 draw against RC Lens.

    Lawrence Agyekum and  Francis Abu couldn’t save the blushes off Cercle Brugge as they fell away to  KV Mechelen.

    Christopher Bonsu Baah scored for Genk in their 4-0 thumping over Dender

    Mohammed Fuseini saw 82 minutes of action for Royale Union SG against St.Liege which ended in a stalemate

    Ghanaian duo Ransford Ofori and Emmanuel Lomotey were involved in Achnas 2-2 draw against AEK Larnaca.

    Osman Bukari was involved in Austin FC’s 1-0 defeat to Huston Dynamo

    Latif Blessing got 30 minutes of game time underneath his belt for Huston Dynamo

    Joseph Paintsil was pivotal in  L.A Galaxy’s massive win over Vancouver Whitecaps
