    A host of Ghanaian players were in action for their varied clubs in England, Italy, France, and others.

     



    In this piece, we look at some of these players and how they fared for their respective club sides.

    Thomas Partey lasted the entire duration for Arsenal as they shared the spoils with Brighton at the Emirates.

    Mohammed Kudus played the whole game for WestHam as they lost at home to defending champions, ManCIty.  

    Abdul Fatawu Issahaku and Jordan Ayew were on the losing end to Aston Villa at the King Power.

    Antoine Semenyo’s 87th-minute goal started the comeback for Bournemouth as they beat Everton 3-2 at the Goodison Park.

    Forson Amankwah played 46 minutes in their win over Brandon Thomas Asante’s Coventry away from home.

    Mohammed Salisu was not involved in action for Monaco who played a 1-1 draw against RC Lens.

    Similarly, St Etienne’s new signing Augustine Boakye was not involved in his team’s loss 4-0 mauling to Brest.  

    Elisha Owusu’s Auxerre lost to Le Havre.

    Combative fullback, Alidu Seidu’s Stade Rennes lost to Reims.

    Emmanuel Gyasi was on the scoresheet for scorers for Empoli in their 1-1 draw against Bologna.

    Caleb Ekuban saw 30 minutes of action for Genoa in their 2-0 loss against Verona

    Alfred Duncan’s Venezia lost by a lone goal to Torino.

    BlackStars forward, Inaki Williams’s Athletic Bilbao lost to Atletico Madrid.

    Abdul Mumin was in action for Rayo Vallecano against Espanyol but lost.

    David Atanga Wolfsberger beat LASK in a six-goal thriller.

    Mohammed Fuseini played for Royale Union SG as they drew goalless to Anderlecht.

    Lawrence Agyekum’s Cercle Brugge was brushed aside by Club Brugge at the Jan Breydel Stadium.

    Red-hot Michael Baidoo found the back of the net for Elfsborg against Brommapojkarna.

    Jonas Adjetey Adjei gave a solid performance for Basel as they picked a point away from Sion.

    Austin FC’s new signing Osman Bukari couldn’t stop his side from losing at home to the Vancouver Whitecaps.

    Benjamin Nyarko played 69 minutes for Liberec as they drew 1-1 with Prince Kwabena Adu’Plzen.
