    Richmond Darko delighted with Samartex victory over Legon Cities at home



    Fc Samartex midfield dynamo, Richmond Darko expressed his delight as  the team continued their remarkable undefeated streak at home.

    Speaking to Sahara football, Richmond Said: ” It feels good to play in front of our fans again and most importantly, secure all three points convincingly.”

    ” We dropped points in our last two games which were all away from home so coming back to play here, we had no option than to give the fans a great game.”

    ” I am really excited about this victory and as you can see, we are a young team but we collectively expect a lot from ourselves as we know what we can do”

    Securing a convincing 3-0 win against Legon Cities in the eighth round of the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League.

    The enthusiastic home crowd at the Nsenkyire Sports Stadium erupted in celebration when Emmanuel Mamah opened the scoring in the 10th minute, demonstrating his exceptional skills with a solo effort.

    Samartex maintained their dominance throughout the first half, energized by the passionate support of their fans.

    Emmanuel Keyekeh, extended the home team’s lead with a well-timed strike in the 57th minute.

    In the 74th minute, Epshon M sealed the victory with the third goal of the match, securing all three points for the club from Samaraboi.

    The victory takes  FC Samartex to the third position on the league table, amassing 13 points after eight rounds of matches.
