Spanish club, Real Madrid has announced the permanent signing of French international, Kylian Mbappe on a free transfer.

The France striker had long agreed to join the holders of the Champions League in February after the current season ended.

This prompted PSG to announce in May that their association with the French star will end at the end of the season.

He has agreed a deal with Real until 2029, earning 15m euros (£12.8m) a season, plus a 150m euro (£128m) signing-on bonus to be paid over five years, and he will keep a percentage of his image rights.

The 25-year-old has established himself as one of the World’s most potent attackers, holding the record as PSG’s record goal scorer with 256 goals since he joined them from Monaco on an initial loan in 2017.

The Frenchman will join on 1 July 2024 Madrid with loads of expectations as he’s expected to add his firepower to an already rich squad off  Vini, Rodrygo, Camavinga, Valverde, Tchouaméni, and Bellingham.
