Ghanaian midfielder Rashid Nortey has joined Kumasi-based club Asante Kotoko in the current transfer window, the club have announced.
The midfielder signed a two-and-half-year deal with the club after successfully completing his medicals with the record holders of the league.
The skillful midfielder ended his six-year association with the club, the Medeama SC some days ago.
He joined the Mauve and Yellow side in 2017 and went on to establish himself as a cogwheel in the side making over 100 appearances.

During his time with the club, he was part of the side that won two MTN FA Cup trophies as well as been voted Medeama Player of the Season in 2021.
He is expected to add quality to the Kotoko midfield as they will be counting on his years of experience in the league and his skillset.
Nortey will have Richard Boadu and Justice Blay for company at his new club.
