Prince Opoku Agyemang jets back to Medeama from Cape Town City

Ghana Premier Medeama SC have moved in swiftly to end the loan move of their predatory striker, Prince Opoku Agyemang from Cape Town City FC.

The 28-year-old crossed carpets to join the Citizens on an initial one-year loan deal far back in October 2020 but has been recalled back to base in Ghana.

This was confirmed by Citizens spokesperson, Julian Bailey on the latest news regarding the exit of the Ghanaian international

“He has returned to Ghana; he was on loan until the end of the season but the club has decided to cut it short,” he told KickOff.com

The Mauve and Yellow side have struggled for consistency under Samuel Boadu in the ongoing Ghana Premier League, as they currently sit 9th with 14 points with a goal difference to buttress their standings.

His arrival will see him partner Amed Toure, Abass Mohammed to compliment the club’s strike force gunning for the league.

The predatory striker netted 11 goals, three assists in 14 appearances.
